“We didn’t love the tour. The Islamic part of the Mezquita was beautiful as expected of Moorish architecture. Our guide spoke through an audio device and it was hard to hear her at times. She also seemed to jump back and forth in the timeline of the Moors and Spanish, making it confusing to follow. The Spanish-Catholic additions were a bit over the top and detracted from, more than enhanced the beauty of the Moor’s architecture. Some tour guides love their jobs and their enthusiasm translates but I thought our tour was lacking in presentation and organization of information.”
